SPECIAL NOTICE: As you have probably seen in news reports, Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford suffered catastrophic damage as a result of two fires.
Seeing the news was certainly heartbreaking since our Foundation—Credit Unions Building Financial Independence—has worked so closely with country club staff to put on amazing golf events since 2020 and they have helped us raise thousands of dollars to support our mission. During this challenging and difficult time, we are thinking of the club, its members and all the staff who work there to make the club a staple in the community.
The good news is that CUBFI is confident that we will have a golf fundraiser in 2024 and is working on those arrangements and details.

Fore! The foundation's annual golf tournament preparations are in full swing! Please join us again this year for our annual event, which will be held on Tuesday, June 18th, at Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford, CT. Proceeds from the tournament go directly to support the foundation's mission, programs, and initiatives.
Thanks to your past generosity, the foundation has been able to educate thousands of high school students every year with the Bite of Reality app, educate more than 100 credit union professionals through our FiCEP program and invest dollars into credit union professional development so that your employees can attend APEX, GAC and the National Credit Union Foundation's development education program.
